Welcome to the Mason County Dive & Rescue Team (MCDART) website. Here you will find information about our organization, our role in the community, and how you can be a part of serving your fellow citizens through our organization.
As stated in Article II of the MCDART by-laws, the object and purpose of our organization is as follows:
1. To provide the citizens, the municipal, county and state governments of the Mason County area, and other areas in the state of Illinois as required, properly equipped and qualified underwater personnel.
2. To assist these agencies in the promotion of conservation activities and in water safety programs.
3. To promote fellowship and understanding among organizations of skin and scuba divers and between such individuals and organizations.
4. To provide motivation, training and assistance to new members in qualifying as skin and scuba divers for the primary purpose of community assistance.
